Features
Those who survive the throws of war often come back changed, not just physically, but sometimes with scars on their mind or soul. As such, you gain the following:
- Gain +5 to Passive Perception and Passive Investigation Scores.
- If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips.
- You can't be surprised while you are conscious.
- You can spend up to 6 hours of a nightly rest performing light activity, and the other 2 hours sleeping, instead 1 hour of light activity and 7 sleeping. If you do so, roll a D6. The number rolled represents the stat that you have disadvantage on all skill checks until you sleep the proper amount. Each subsequent day, you add a new stat, rerolling the D6 if the corresponding stat is one you already have disadvantage with. After a week of sleeping like this, you gain exhaustion for each subsequent night you don't get 7 hours of sleep during the rest.
