Information on Iranor Isle

Geography

Iranor Isle is a larger island within a small Archipelago within the Sea of the Drowned. The island is mostly covered in Forest, but the center lies a dormant Volcano. Several lava tubes flow out in all directs across the island from it, some ending at the sea or well under its shallow waters.

History

The island, before the Bleeding of Heaven, was connected to the larger portion of Thandia and was simply a lone mountain dotting the Hernian Plains. Estelmara claimed the mountain as part of her domain, establishing her lair within it, only abandoning it once she was granted the status of Demi-Deity by The Sovereign. Following the Bleeding of Heaven, the island remained uninhabited until the Dragon Cult established a presense on the island in the early 400s Post Bleeding. Working up their power base under the command of Estelmara and Asteriael, they eventually attempted to aid in Estelmara's ascension to replace The Sovereign among the Maintainers in 679 Post Bleeding, but were ultimately foiled by Encere Veldstig and abandoned the island. Moving back to the island in 5980 Post Bleeding, the Dragon Cult aims to use the site to return Estelmara to physical form.
