Tonallitecameh is the collective name for all of the races that have been created by the Ilhuicani, Tonalteotlcah and Pianimeh. Each of the races were blessed Souls by Nellayotlni from agreements were struck between it and the two aforementioned groups of Ilhuicahuatin. While having Souls makes the Tonallitecameh unique, they are not the only creations of the Ilhuicani.

The Tonallitecameh can be split into two groups, the Ilhuicacapan, "Ones Originating from the Sky", and the Cuallicallimeh, "Those of the Save Haven"

The Ilhuicapan are the Tonallitecameh that were created during the Age of the First Sun by the Tonalteotlcah, in addition to the various races that are descendants of those. Originally consisting of just the Primal Dragons and Humans, Humans later evolved into the Hym and modified themselves into the Beast Heart, Shifters, Ashlanders, and Aquari. In addition, the Humans created the Gearborn, living machines, who were granted Souls by Nellayotlni due to their complexity and independent nature on par with the Humans. The Ilhuicapan have the ability to manipulate Arcanum, and aside from Humans, use it to create Magic.

The Cuallicallimeh are the Tonallitecameh created by the Pianimeh and set to live inside of the The Mooring. Unable to fully grasp what they were capable upon being collectively granted the power of the Tonalteotlcah, their creations almost all copy the design that they used for the Humans, simply modified in various ways to fit within their domain and interest. The first of the Cuallicallimeh were the Primil, set to inhabit the Elemental Halos and the Pivots, they were created as a test for the Pianimeh in using their newfound powers.

Following the successful creation of the Primil, each of the Piani went out and created a race in their image, with their domains exemplified within their new children's very being.

In addition to the created Cuallicallimeh, the Leviantouched was an unexpected side effect of beings inhabiting the inside of the The Mooring. Leviance energy causing severe damage to development, lead to their spontaneous appearance across Creation's Rest. Following the arrival of the Hym and Shifters, their offspring would also occasionally be born scared by Leviance.

Unlike the Ilhuicacapan, the Cuallicallimeh manipulate Leviance energy to create Magic. They have no connections with Arcanum.

The Ilhuicapan and the Cuallicallimeh, both being creations of the Divine and with all being based on or descendant from the Humans, are all able to interbreed and produce children with one another, Dragons being the one exception. When cross breeding occurs, hybrids don't appear but instead the offspring are the same race as one of the parents with the other only influencing traits within that race. There are also rare cases of monsters being able to cross breed with Tonallitecameh; how and why this occurs only sometimes is unknown although magic being the catalyst has been ruled out by the wider research community. Of these instances, the offspring is always the race of the Tonallitecameh, but their hight, weight, and strength, among other traits, often vary wildly from the average.
