Leviantouched are unique in origin as they were not created directly by the hand of any of the Ilhuicani and instead are the result of the Engine of Divine Creation putting influence upon other beings that have made their home within The Mooring. When Leviant Surges occur, the resulting Leviance arc causes living beings within the area to become impacted. Those that have fully developed, or are at least outside of a stage of development where they are rapidly growing, are fairly unaffected by it outside of tweaks to Magic or issues with their Levianoception. For those within those rapidly developing stages, such as young children, it can lead their Magic abilities to be greatly weakened or bolstered. For those who are still within eggs or within their parents womb, they can become Leviance Touched Creatures, or for those who have Souls, the effect on their development results in them becoming Leviantouched.

Due to the rapid development in cities, Leviantouched have become wildly more common, often appearing in waves due to Leviant Surges. Outside of cities, they appear much less commonly due to the reduced likelihood for the conditions to create them to come into effect during a surge. Combined with the fact that Leviantouched do not produce Leviantouched children, instead producing offspring that match their parents races or that of their partner, some places can do decades or centuries without seeing a Leviantouched individual.

Leviantouched can be found all across Creation's Rest, but are seldom found elsewhere. Cultural beliefs and misunderstandings have historically resulted in them having lower numbers, and have ultimately prevented them from appearing within underground settlements. Adult Leviantouched end up outside of Creation's Rest rarely, and tend to avoid settling there to prevent being discriminated against.

Leviantouched Anatomy varies much more wildly than the other Tonallitecameh. A majority of an individual Leviantouched's features depend on their parent's race, which can dictate their hight, weight, proportions, and even amount of fingers. Outside of this, Leviantouched characteristics can be defined fairly easily due to their unique nature. Their skin can take wild colors, ranging from Blue to Red to Green, but will only be a single color on an individual with the exception of those who suffer from Diachromatic Levinancy. The Leviantouched with the condition can end up with multicolor striped or patterned skin, however they end up completely color blind. Their skin is typically smooth as well, and it has been noted within younger Leviantouched that acne and other skin conditions are non-existent.

Odd features that Leviantouched can commonly have in addition to the abnormal skin color is Fangs, Horns, Thin Tails, Wings, and the blurring of primary and secondary sex traits. Their fangs and horns are the most common additions, just coming up as slightly elongated canines and growths from the top or side of the head from the skull. The horns are made of keratin and fuse with the bone where they attach, with some bone extruding up into the base of them and the keratin spreading across the top of the skull nearby. The thin tails that Leviantouched sometimes have are fiendish in nature, often ending in arrow tips although stars, hearts, and diamonds can also be found. Despite their appearance, the tails are prehensile and they have rather fine control over them for simple tasks but they remain limited due to their sensitivity and lack of strength. Most commonly the tails are found wrapped around their legs to prevent others from accidentally stepping on them or brushing against them. Leviantouched wings are the most uncommon trait, but have extreme variety in placement and positioning, able to extend from the shoulders, shoulder blades, middle back, or hips, and extend upward, outward, or behind the Leviantouched individual. The wings have enough strength to support flight, although not much beyond the weight of the person in question. Unique to Leviantouched is their tendency to have randomized sex traits caused by the exposure to Leviance while developing. This trait, combined with their fiendish appearance, makes connecting with members of other Tonallitecameh difficult at times.

Leviantouched, due to their exposure, have a heightened sense of Levianoception, allowing them to identify small breaks in the flow the come before a Leviant Surge and predict them. This has no real effect outside of being able to warn magic users who rely on Leviance to prepare for slight changes in spell presentation when the surge is anticipated to be severe. Outside of this, they have excellent darkvision, being able to make out detail at moderate distances.

The only myth surrounding Leviantouched is of their origin predating the Bleeding of Heaven, as before then they were incredibly rare and seen as the spawn of forces that opposed the Ilhuicani fundamentally, causing few to reach adulthood. With the disruptions to the flow of Leviance during the bleeding, and its more chaotic restoration leading to a massive generation of Leviantouched, most realized that they were not opposed to the Ilhuicani and instead were a byproduct of their gift of magic upon the land.
