The Magic of Arcanum

Arcanum is a more pure form of Magic that permeates the entirety of the Aether. Arcanum moves like radiation, being stopped by only constructions of dense materials. Being more tied to the natural state of the Aether, the color of the energy is a deep radiant blue, with less concentrated or less pure forms being lighter blues. Beings tied to Arcanum tend to have deep blue wells within their eyes and occasional blue flecks across their body.

Radiating upward from the Arcanic Shield below the Aethermaris, Arcanum exists in all spaces nearly equally. The only places that Arcanum is weak would be within contained Memorant Shards, due to their separation from the Aether on a fundamental level. Arcanum flows into The Mooring just fine, but due to the Machine using some of the Arcanum for itself, the energy is slightly weaker within.
