Leviant Surge

Leviant Surges are localized breaks within the flow of Leviance where singular element bands rip out from the main channel and arc outward, often causing strange effects or damage to the area the break occurs in.

Manifesting most commonly as changes to the temperature or weather within a region, on rare occasions Leviant Surges can lead to areas of elemental disturbance and Magic behaving in abnormal ways. The most. common way to identify a Leviant Surge having occurred is by seeing children being born as Leviantouched approximately seven-to-nine months later.

Leviant Surges only occur within The Mooring, more commonly in the lower levels due to the higher concentration of Leviance closer to the Core of The Mooring. The Elemental Halos are immune to their effects and have yet to experience a Leviant Surge for their recorded history.
