Condition Type
Immortality is typically a Soul Shred Condition, meaning that in most cases the Souls of those inflicted with it are damaged beyond the point of being able to be collected by the Nellayotlni.
Affected Species
Any of the Tonallitecameh can become inflicted with Immortality. Demi-Dieties are the only of the gods who experience this, as even though the Maintainers, Ancients, and each of the Primordials are all 'Immortal', they fact that they do not have Souls means that this condition does not present as it would for other beings.

Cause
The cause of Immortality within an individual can vary from divine reasons to symptoms from other ailments.
Symptoms
The symptoms of Immortality are:
- Bodily functions continuing in perpetuity, preventing death through natural means
- Prevention of reincarnation following death due to destabilization of the Soul and eventual merging of it with the body
- For Tonallitecameh, they suffer a disconnection from being able to commune with the Divine Beings through Magic and benefit from their blessings if they obtain their Immortality through non-divine means
Immortality through Divine means does not mean that one cannot die, one can still die but instead of their Soul becoming recycled as happens with Mortals, they can either be Etherialized (Non-Dismantled Divine), where their Soul floats in the Aether until they are summoned and can reattach to a physical form that way or through time and regeneration if their soul is not torn apart as well, can be Cycled (Dismantled Divine), where they are reincarnated endlessly as Mortals until they are able to recollect all of the parts of their divinity, or can be Shredded (Dismantled Soul Torn), where if they are dismantled and Soul torn then they dissipate until they are summoned and offered a immortal vessel of which they can inhabit.
Immortality through non-Divine means does not mean that one cannot die, but so long as their body is not destroyed they can be brought back. The are no-longer able to be reincarnated through normal means as their soul became destabilized through the process of obtaining immortality and fuses with their body
Treatment
There is no treatment for Immortality once it fully sets in, as the Soul becomes gradually destabilized and merges with the physical body in order to maintain its own continuity.
Prognosis
People with Immortality live forever, unless some other force ends their life through unnatural means.
Sequela
Depending on the source of the Immortality, one may develop an Acquired Resistance to Magical Restoration
Prevention
The way to prevent Immortality are fairly easy, and are simply not ascending to godhood or contracting another condition that would have Immortality as a subsequent condition.
History
Cultural Reception
Those with Immortality are generally revered, as the most common method of obtaining the condition is ascending to godhood. However, the condition and its effects are not actually well documented due to it not being tracked as a fully independent condition. Its commonly viewed as an associated symptom of what ever diseases cause it.
