Megacosm

Megacosm is the term for Universes that are, or were, living entities. All Universes are Megacosm.

Megacosm originate from the Primordial Abyss located above the Universal Stellar Engraving, spawning from one another, and on rare occasions from the Primordial Abyss itself. The energy that they are born with can be a spontanious creation of the mutiverse, or be imparted upon them from their parent universe.

They exist throughout the mutiverse outside of the Universal Stellar Engraving, with the Engraving splitting the mutiverse into two sections that segregate the living Megacosm from the "dead" Megacosm. Nearly evenly distributed throughout the Primordial Abyss, Megacosm are highly abundant and prolific beings.
One Megacosm inhabits the Universal Stellar Engraving, naming itself "Nellayotlni", it acts as the cataloger for the mutiverse and aids Megacosm as they pass through into death. Why it alone holds this position, let alone why it lives within the Universal Stellar Engraving is unknown, nor will it divulge how or why to entities within it.

Able to take any form they wish within themselves, Megacosm within the Primordial Abyss appear as little more than bubbles with their energy and contents visible inside.

Megacosm reproduce through a process similar to budding, where older Megacosm appear to have bits off themselves bud outward forming temporary chains before the new Megacosm breaks off and floats freely. Children Megacosm have more energy contained within than their parent Megacosm, and as such rapidly part ways and "float upwards" through the Primordial Abyss

Once born, Megacosm develop rapidly and quickly establish themselves by stabilizing their internal physics and fundamental forces. Those born from other Megacosm often have several fundimental forces that match their parent Megacosm with most of the changes being small tweaks while those spawned from the Primordial Abyss vary wildly from each other in the forces they contain and how they are expressed. Once their forces stabilize fully, they are considered adults, and their internal universe is able to play out until the energy they contain is near depleted. Once this occurs, they collide with the Universal Stellar Engraving, maximizing their internal entropy and having their final energy reserves siphoned away. This allows them to pass into the other side of the engraving, as dead universes.

The mutiverse's reason for creating Megacosm is unknown, as are the reasons the experiences that are generated within them are stored within the Megacosm that inhabits the Universal Stellar Engraving.
