Creation's Rest and the Elemental Halos rest within The Mooring act as divine sanctuaries for life. Aside from the "Children of the Sky", each of the sentient races were hand crafted by the Divine to spread out across their world and prosper in their name. The arrival of the Hym and their sister races marked the start of the rise of nations throughout the machine. Rising and falling regardless of what was thrown their way,

When the Divine begun their feud and scarred the skies with their blood, the people trudged on. When those who were broken into pieces and cast down from the heavens began to reincarnate among them in search for their power in order to reclaim their Divine throne, the people trudged on. Millennia passed as the Machine continued on throughout the Aether, and the people inside it, while separated through their differences, trudged on.

The People of The Mooring remain shattered through the current day; Ignaldi suffered through the Cinderfall and the Illistrian Civil War, Fresulia remains in tatters after an unprecedented Leviant Surge, and the nations of the Menoinan and Sougatin continents continue their arms race against one another. While conflicts between the people brew, old rifts between the Divine are reopening. The Bled are mounting their re-ascension, beings long thought vanquished have begun to stir, and beyond the confines of The Mooring, the Forebearer's slumber is coming to an end.
